Who's Better?? Part 4

I won't be swayed (yet) by Williams' recent figures in India. Noffke for me. But Noffke will need to get some sustained bags of wickets when he returns from injury to leap frog past Williams now.

Clark - <shakes head violently> - NO

Williams easily, but noffke has age on his side and is clear 2nd... And a very distant 3rd would be stuart clark, will always be an alrite state cricketer, but never an international one... i rate the clark of the western australia variety more than him...

Noffke. If only he could get his injuries right, he'd be the first in line when McGrath, Bichel et al retire...

Potentially Noffke, but right now Williams.

I would agree Clark is not up to international standard.
I agree on all counts.

Noffke.................we need him at the Gabba right now!

Williams takes wickets but is costly with the runs.
Clark keeps the runs down but is not up to international standard.

Clark

Swap the first two around then you will be on the money.

Williams

Noffke

Clark
Cameron White

Even put Cameron White as good as Stuart Clark. Clark is one of the most overated quicks no doubt - Williams is hard to beat. the expectations have always been good for Willo and Noffke will have even more trouble trying to get the test cap. He had a HUGE chance in England 2001 but just couldn't break through, the injury may have put a test career right out of line.

The only thing that would make me put Noffke behind Williams is the injury factor. Noffke always seems to be injured...much like Shane Watson. 2 good players who are always on the side lines for the wrong reasons.
