I got a phone call from Cricket Victoria today after the State 2nd XI game finished at Junction Oval and was asked whther I would like to score in the BBC radio box tomorrow night. I said yes of course. This is a true story. Can not wait for tomorrow. Their regular scorer had to go back to London for Personal reasons.

Not ony do you get to go to the game, but you get paid for it as well.

It has been a progression over the last 6 years.

I began at Richmond CC working up in the scoreboard at Punt Road Oval.
At the end of my 1st season in 2001/02 I was asked to score our 2nd XI in the finals.

From their our 1st XI scorer is in the state panel and when he has been away I have been scring our 1st XI games and his still happens to this day whenhe is scoring I am looking after our computer stats at the club.

About 3 years ago I was approached from Cricket Victoria to help up in the scoreboard for state 2nd XI games at Junction Oval and Central Reserve.

Last season I was asked to be in the media centre scoring the VB Series one day games at Telstra Dome.

This season I scored all 3 Victorian Twenty20 games at the MCG abnd have been helping out in the scorers box for Pura and Ford Ranger Cup Games.

This brought me to this week where I scored my 1st 4 day game that finished at St Kilda today and tomorrows BBC gig. That is basically how this has come about.
