I just wanna know who are your 5 favourite richmond players that are on the 04 list now and why?

I will get the ball rolling

1.Brown- Pure class. Loved it when we got his name. Can play anywhere well and is mercurial.

2.Richo- Always loved big bear. Absoulotly loving it that he is having a cracker of a season. He was my idol growing up and he still is now with his strong marking.

3. Ottens- Waiting for this guy to blossom. I know he has it in him and its his best season yet. Wish he would kick a few more goals though.

4. Tivendale- Laser left foot. Gotta love it. Along with penetration and always a good decision maker this guy was a real winner off our rookie list and i have loved the way he palys for ages.

5. Coughlan- Just love the way he puts his body on the line and the way he loves the RFC. Future captain and pure skill and can only get better. Cant wait till he is back.

1. Browny: obvious reasons
2. Richo: ditto
3. Krak: Silky skilled, hard at it, best tackler in the side and just has that touch of magic
4. Cogs: best young player in the team, he is a star
5. Tough one there are probably half a dozen i could go for so i will be contraversial. Zanners: I hope he can change his apparent attitude problems. but i just love the way he plays.

1/-Andrew krakour:i just admire his skills and more importantly his attack on the ball despite the size of the kid.the most skilkful player on our list without a doubt.

2/-Nathan Brown:only been at the club for 5 mins however unlike some players of the past he,s worth every dollar he is getting and playing accordingly.each time he gets the ball he does something with it.

3/-Kane Johnson:his work ethic and attitude on the feild let alone his leadership qualitys is something that the cubs can look as a prime example if they want to get the best out of themselves.

4/-Mark Coughlan-came of from WA with less fan fare than some of his higher ranked counterparts however he has surpassed most of with his work ethic and hardness at the ball.a future capt of the club.

5/-Mathew Richarson:despite his obvious flaws in his game he loves the tigers to death.he plays and bleeds for the club.

cheers!

1. Duncan Kellaway - I know he is out of favour with a lot of people there but he is fearless and tough. It is also the reason why he gets injured a lot but he is a great influence on a lot of the younger players.

2. Matthew Richardson - I have been guilty of negativity when it comes to richo but boy, can he play when he is on song!

3. Nathan Brown - classy and great to watch even when the rest of the guys around him is playing like crap. All-Australian form so far this year.

4. Ray Hall - very handy this year with Darren Gaspar horribly out of form. Has a lot of critics but he has been a match winner this year.

5. Jay Schultz - has lots of potential, very nice kid but needs to show a bit of composure under pressure.

1: Mark Coughlan - Love the way he goes about his footy. Will be a superstar..
2: Greg Tivendale - Love the thumping left foot. Amazing ability when on song. Underrated.
3: Matthew Richardson - Nice guy and a very good athlete. Can tell thats he's one eyed about the Tigers.
4: Joel Bowden - Bowdo used to be my favourite player.. its hard to say that you always like the guy when hes getting bagged by his own all the time. Love his style and, like Tivendale, when on song.. hes on song.
5: Nathan Brown + Kane Johnson: Brownys ability to find the ball and make something out of nother and Johnsons lace out delivery.

I love the whole team :D

1 - Andrew Krakouer - For similar reasons to tiger of old, his attack on the ball for someone with such a slender build is inspirational at times. His tackles nearly always seem to stick as well. Also capable of some brillant deft touches that you sometimes leaves may saying how good was that?

2 - Richo - the great man

3 - Rory Hilton - Not sure why I've just always been a fan of Rory's, dates back to 2001 when he had a good year.

4 - Mark Coughlan - Just love his attack on the ball.

5 - Nathan Brown - Moving up the list rapidly.

Pretty sad that the player who has contributed more than any other current player to our club doesn't rate a mention in anyone's top 5 favourites.

Ditto Julz - Richo lol

Timmy Fleming cos he was nice to me at the B&F and i like the way he never stops trying despite his obvious deficiencies

Rodan - same as fleming - like his enthusiasm

Krak - just live in hope he'll be like his dad

Cogs - out of sight but not out of mind - loved his efforts last year.

Campbell - I've loved this guy since I got into footy about '95, have stuck by him and admire him both as a player and individual.
Coughlan - a young kid who really sprouted and showed everyone just what he can do, developing into a very respected midfielder
Brown - need more of him basically!
And guys such as Staff, Krak and Newman can fit in there too.

1. Cogs - he is a gun
2. Bowden - i know most people bag him but i think he is one of our best
3. Tivendale - what a clasy left footer
4 - Ottens - He is another gun
5 - Browny - well he is a star

ther are more that i wanted to put in but couldnt

Seriously though, Campbell does make my top 10!

6 - Campbell - The Haircut
7 - Ottens - The Potential
8 - A. Kellaway - The Honest Go
9 - Newman - The Future pt. II
10a - Gaspar - The Millionaire
10b - Hilton - The only one on the current list that has had dinner at my pub :D

1. Coughlan - tough, courageous but also classy
2. Ottens - just starting to see his ability to dominate the centre now he is at last being played as first ruck
3. A Kellaway - always gives 100%, marks save the day dwn back so many times
4. Richo - just for the extremes, the highs and lows
5. Brown - class missing for so long and alternate goal source
6. Krakouer - love his tackling

Good to see some players aren't too proud to slum it. :D
Your pub or the one you frequent? If it's yours why don't you give it a plug?
