Re: Who Regrets Dream Team Decisions Already?

Wouldnt say leave it alone that long. There are always a few bolters that can really kick-start your season (Hill last year). It important to get the right mix of rookies/smokies otherwise your squad can get stagnant.

After any initial trades (R3) I probably wont touch my team till R6-7.

Re: Who Regrets Dream Team Decisions Already?

82 from tuck in a losing richmond side should be completely expected. look at his scores last year when they win compared to when they lose

Sure you can regret not putting players like Robinson on the ground, but you can't honestly blame yourself for making the decision to put him on the bench.

You have to remember you made your selections for a reason, and most of the time they were logical, well thought through reasons. Hell I've got Robinson as my 9th midfielder and I'm happy, he's there to make me money and he looks like he'll do just that :)

If your going to get upset for every little mistake you make, your in for a long stress filled season of dream team

You cant honestly regret decision after 1 game. I bet a shitload of people are regretting not picking up certain Carlton players (Kreuzer and Houlihan come to mind) but how often are Carlton going to win by 83 points?

Maybe I regret having Bowden, maybe I regret not having Kreuzer. But it's only been one match .... and at least I didn't have Cousins!

Cant really have regrets after one game lol
bit dissapointed i didnt get robinson as i had a feeling he would be a gun before the nab cup. Ended up going Rich as i wasnt sure if robinson could hold his spot. not to upset still have Otten, Rich and Anthony who should all turn out to be decent cash cows at least otten and anthony. Pissed at NGBs 57 althought im still glad i selected him.

Bowden didn't give me a reason to smile last night, but it's only the first game...I did umm and ahh over him in the first place becasue of his different role this year. but we'll see how he goes next week.

It's a long season...

I regret taking Deledio over Richo.
Richo is one of my favourite DT/SC players, but I bit the bullet on the young gun Deledio.

Especially in super coach where I felt that Richo's kicking skills would result in a lot of clangers.

Whilst Richo did his usual clangerfest on Thursday night, who could have guessed that deledio would be worse!

That missed goal in particular in the last quarter under no pressure especially hurt.

No regrets as yet. I'm backing my research.

Along with Raines' injury, I had Deledio and N Brown put in relatively sub-par efforts last night, but I don't regret having them in the team:

Lids scored well, I think, considering the outrageously appalling game he had. Once he's back in form he should be belting out the triple-figure scores.

N Brown set the game alight in the first half, played very well. He just couldn't get a handle on the ball once Carlton started to dominate. Again, not concerned as yet.

I still think I had Raines in the team for the right reasons, his injury doesn't seem too horrific, and I have cover if necessary. No huge drama there either.

So yeah, panicking after one game is a bit unnecessary.

Those who are talking about having Bowden I feel for you.. he's done.
Was at the game last night. He can't play backline now that he can't rush behinds with every touch he gets back there. So they sent him forward and he just doesn't get it when playing there because he's simply not a forward.
I'm writing him off now.

No regrets, although I'm aware my team's not as strong as others I've focused on being able to fund upgrades this year.

Don't have Ablett, so if he fires tonight I might be in a bit of strife.

Don't give up on N. Brown, not suggesting you will but yeah he will prove to be a good buy....95+ i am seeing....you can feel a touch of disappointment but it is nothing to worry about, its only the first round, definitely still in the hunt to do well :)

Looking forward tonight got a lot of big names playing....all people that are playing are 400k or more...

Only regret I have at this stage is selecting Beams over Robinson. I was able to get on yesterday and make all the changes I needed to, so I could have easily made the trade but I thought Robinson would be pushed out of the side by round 2-3. After that performance though he's going to be there for a while, congrats to those who picked him up :thumbsu:. Raines hurts, but the $115k in the bank may come in handy.

i dont really regrest anything yet.

Kept Beams over Robinson - still fine with this even though Robinson got a big score he will get dropped after round 2. (Grigg, Walker, Carazzo, Stevens, Yarran) plenty of players lining him up.

Raines - well he was flying and probably the 2nd best tiger at their, he was scoring well and everything, than he gets injured. But hes the most popular dt player this year, so everyone will be concrened.

Broughton instead of Petrenko, even though Petrenko is playing round 1 and Broughton isnt, i didnt jump on or off anyone to quick. Johncock, Symes, Burton and S.Thompson all back (3 return in round 2) - Say goodbye Petrenko unless you have a blinder.

I regret 2 of my backline decisions and a lot of big $ young midfielders. This is not based on last nights game (only 1 of the mids played) but on the 3.5 hours I spent yesterday trying to change my team. There was no 'save my team' button on my screen and I didn't want to trade anyone in case the system crashed during it and reverted back to a previously saved side. I had to log in after the lockout to check which team it actually recorded. For so long yesterday I was logged in and could see my team but had no buttons to push to trade, sub, or make VC or C.
