Why all the negativity

I understand that we have just lost and the rivalry that was involved, but realistically it was 16th vs. 2nd.
I think there were some positives out of the game ie. the way we played in the first qrt and parts of the second and Edwards.

I was pretty shattered after the loss but I didnt expect this sort of reaction to a game we were competitive in for a half, (the story of Richmond's 07 season) but thought all the threads about sacking the coach and poor recruiting were pretty uncalled for.

Hoping that I'm not going crazy and some others out there share my thoughts.

We have NOT progressed, we are going backwards, the coach is uninspiring, the team plays 'Beige' football, we recruit players without skill, we are one dimensional, we look blindly to the future without rectifying the present, we place faith AND time in footballers that aren't up to it, we have the worst indigenous player group, we have the worst anglo player group, we place faith in the future thinking we will progress while other teams will stay still, we give people at our club tenures of 5 years which is a prehistoric job tenure agreement, our backline rules our side to the extent that by the time it gets to the midfield they end up playing the same style of keepings off, we think a flawed full forward is the greatest thing since sliced bread, we have a flawed, wall-paper of a Captain, we think getting dropped and then getting a kick in the 2's justifies an immediately call up, we don't know whether we are 'tanking' or we are just making stupid team changes, we have no ticker, we have no foot skills, we turn-over the ball, teams know we are soft, teams know we will crumble, we are too small, we are too light in the body, and we draft speed over football brains, footballing bodies and skills.

Other than that.....things are rosy!!

So tell me....Deliberate, Why do you insist on paying out on Richo. The only guy that gives 100% week in week out. He has ticker, he has foot skills, he is not soft, he is one of the biggest frames in AFL, he is fast and has great skill????

Richo's continued presenting and chasing really impressed me yesterday. He busted his gut to chase smaller, faster players while others stood by and watched.

This a post that is spot on i agree totally it's about time someone said it as it is the same year in year out.Look i love Richo to death he gives his heart and sole to the club we can never question that.But tell me this why is it when our players are going forward & are under pressure they allways look for the easy way out and kick it to Richo even if it's a 3 on 1 and ever if is leading to the pocket. Thats what our problem is and if you people cannot see that well i give up.

coach terry hasnt helped with his lack of vision and tactic in the game. coach terry cant expect the opposing coach to do nothing when the tigers are beating them. loose man in defense has failed once the opposition work it out. coach terry need to send polak forward once they start flooding and make adjustments to his plan.

hang on dude, there isnt any room for reality in this forum.
But you must have forgotten that Hyde did kick those 3 goals against the Cats back when, sparking debate on his "eliteness". And pettifer laid he "perfect tackle" once, but he is paid kick goals, so he doesnt really need to do anything else. Or maybe you havent noticed that we are sadly missing the missing link P.Bowden, who is the answer to our skill level prayers as well.
