He's got a small tear to his Rotator Cuff which is why he gets jabbed pre-game and sometimes at half time.
Is that the same/similar injury that he had last year?
Thought it was fixed over summer....

How ridiculous we keep playing him. All that depth and we play a bloke who is clearly in agony trying to play.

He had a Labral Tear within the same shoulder mid 2012 IIRC - and he had keyhole surgery over the summer (2013/14) to repair the tears to his rotator cuff. Seems as though the club may have done a Maric job again and picked the wrong option when electing what procedure for Steve to undergo.

Thanks
Would be  if we stuffed up the summer fix up on him.

Not sure if this is sarcasm, but do we actually have any depth at all in his position?
Sarcasm to the depth part. His depth option was injured too. But, surely we could play anyone other than a bloke who can't life his arm? Sure Morris would play better in the role but what about Morris' well-being?

We've had the same issue with Maric in the past, likewise Jack, likewise Cotchin. Sure the replacements aren't as good but sometimes you've got to look at the big picture. We are paying heavily for the Maric debacle, Jack seems to have finally got his leap back after 2 years of playing through injuries, Cotchin is still injured and should be rested.

Sometimes I think the club puts trying to get an instant result over our players well-being.

What do you mean the wrong surgery? Surely they knew what had to be done or are you saying that it just wasn't successful.

Was he tho? Nick Smith comes to mind, as well as Enright.

We'll statistically I believe he was mate.

Enlighten had him covered in other areas I believe.

Not sure about smith.

Either way best or top 2/3 my point stands.

Imo he does well on most of the teams best small fwds, but he does struggle against the best of the best. he ahs shown he can do this, but I want him to get better, as if he does, then we get better.

Not taking pot shots at him. He's not suited to what we are trying to do with him. He's not good offensively and when he's focused on it he's becoming pretty ordinary defensively as well. Throw in the fact he's injured and shouldn't be playing as well and we have yet another player not being played to his strengths.
I think that's fair. I like him shutting down but Dimma wants him offensive as well. Think this will be a bone we will chew on for a while until we do or don't see the merits of having flexible players. Have to say Hawks are a pretty impressive side in that respect and I'd give Morris his due because 6 games in he's one of few players that's attempting what Dimma's asking.

And people are bagging him this year. He's been probably our most physical player this season and his shoulder is no good.
Cops too much flak IMO Morro...
Was great at providing run off half-back when the team was travelling better overall - remember his fist goal for the club v Hawks a coupla years ago???

With one wing is still going in harder than almost every other Tiger.

Dimma is taking a gamble that he can play better with one arm rather than two arms

Yep. Dea has had 2 good games now. Get him in.

Not sure if tongue in cheek tigs ? But If Miles has had more consistent games not sure Dea will get a go before him. Seems like they have to be tearing it up for a bit of time before they're given a go. Having said that (message to self, Ben Lennon says Hi :p)...

I meant like for like. Dea is a back pocket so can replace Morris. :p

There will be more than 1 change this week. I suspect more like 4-5. Besides, Dea is a defender and Miles is a mid.
