David Koch is a Financial Guru who made the Club relevant again very similar to Eddie McGuire and what he did with Collingwood. He organised several Sponsorships for the Club and his Good Work helped bring the Crowds back to Games and ensure the Club no longer needed to put Tarps on the Seats.

We've been better than Carlton in the Modern Era we haven't won the Wooden Spoon while Carlton have won Five of them. We have Carlton covered in other Key Metrics such as Win Percentage, Top 4 finishes, Preliminary Finals and Top 8 finishes.

Compare Bruce Weber to the noble Nerio Ferraro, who was also talking to the VFL just as much as Port were, but when it came time to make a brave call for the future of his club, didn't have the stones to go through with it.

His cowardice consigned his football club to an eternity of park football irrelevance while his greatest rival went to play in the big league.

I'd feel absolutely sick as a Norwood supporter watching Port play AFL. If Nerio Ferraro had been more like Bruce Weber instead of being South Australia's biggest historical chicken, not much had to go differently for Norwood to get there.

Most people aren't members of the intelligensia, but a lot of them like going to restaurants, pubs, festivals and events, all of which have been bigger and better with the revitalisation of the riverbank which was kicked off by the Adelaide Oval redevelopment.

I am not a Norwood supporter at all, I do have a fairly healthy level of respect for them and their history though. It's a genuine football shame that only one half of the great rivalry made the AFL and I 100% blame their board at the time for small minded cowardice.

Wow, I didn't know you existed.

A humble Port supporter, I am not sure how to feel .
Living in Adelaide, I met so many Port supporters, with chips on their shoulders, demanding that Port were a powerhouse and should be revered in the AFL.
The sense of entitlement was the driving factor that allowed me to dislike Port even more than traditional rivals like Carlton.

Then you come along, with a bit of appreciation and confuse me more.
It is like a Collingwood supporter with dentures. You can see what they are trying to do but it still seems weird.

You are correct with the lens that you look through though.
Be grateful that you are part of the AFL, not constantly p1ssed, thinking the world is against you because you deserve more.
