The fact is Geelol flogs think they are good because they make finals. There’s nothing else that they are particularly good at. Therefore that’s what Scott delivers: finals, and nothing more. Because he knows that’s enough to keep the slackjawed Barwon locals in his thrall, and retain his job. Another failed finals campaign, another contract extension. QED

Winning flags and the lack of interest that follows reminds Geelong of what a minnow club they are, they have to bump years old threads or pretend they played Richmond in the 2022 GF, to generate any interest at all.
Also where have all those 1 million swans supporters been hiding?
It should be mandated that at least one of the big 4 clubs plays in every Grand final just to generate some off season interest.
