Why Does Eade Hate The Pies So Much?

Most coaches will give some credit to the opposition when they get rolled, even if just a cursory line saying they were too good on the day or the like. Yet Rodney Eade never acknowledges the pies when they beat the dogs. Pies smashed them 3 times in 2010 and once so far this year, but he point blank has refused to give the pies any semblance of credit after any of those games.

It was well known that he didn't rate the pies through the 06 to about 08 period but even in more recent times he has stuck to his guns and makes no reference to them whatsoever in his post match presser or any follow up intereview such as that On the Couch last night. Why does he hate the pies so much? Is it true that he was keen on the coaching job at coll when mick was appointed way back in late 1999 and has been bitter ever since?

Eade is so insignificant I hardly even think he coaches.

I thought that up as did many other amateurs well before he did and that's his "big move" done and dusted.

I don't think he hates us naymore then other teams. A few years ago he clearly thought his team was better then ours. Times have changed though.

Eade is and has always been a real whining prick.

Yeh and in the coaches votes Eade (I presume based on the votes) thought that the 2nd, 3rd and 4th best players on the ground last weekend were all Bulldogs... In a 48 point loss in which they didn't score a solitary point for over an hour. Yeah, right.

Yeah they are a guess and there are other possible combinations.

Just based my guess on Mick giving most of his votes to our players and Eade giving most of the Dogs ones

The constants are

Sidebottom got 5 from both

Cross and Krak got a 2 vote each but could have come from either coach (I assumed Mick gave Krak 2)

Wellingham got a 3 vote, either coach

Shaw got a 1 vote , either coach

2 of Brown Murphy and Minson got a 4 vote , either coach

The one of the above 3 who didnt get a 4 vote got 3 from one coach and 1 from the other

Only Sidebottom and one of Brown Minson or Murphy got votes from both coaches

So there are a number of possible combinations but it is hard to see MM giving the Bulldogs a big share of the votes after a 8 goal loss.

More importantly, why are Collingwood fans so insecure about shit like this. You get your knickers in a twist if someone doesn't praise our team? Who cares! Why the need to be liked by everyone? I'd rather there be genuine dislike for us, not that I think Eade is indicative of this.
