Why is everyone being so pessimistic about Richmond. We lost our Best Ruck (Simmonds), Best/Second Best Midfielder (Coughlan), and our Best/Second Best Forward (Brown). If you did that to any team they would be losing. Especially with a young rebuilding team like Richmond. From what I have seen in the first 2 games this year we are developing some great young kids. Moore is looking like a future player and McGuane is showing some great signs. Polo played well on Goodes today and Foley kicking has improved heaps. Once Simmonds and Brown come back in our young midfield will be getting first use of the ball and not having to guess were the ball is going to go, and we will have an etra target up forward so that we arn't so dependent on Richardson.

It's just we have been dissapointed too many times, it's eaiser to be pessimistic that way when you lose it's only what you expect, it's harder to be dissapointed all the time!!

we lost we did not win sure there were encouraging signs but we learn how to lose, unless we learn how to win we will not go forward

As good as those blokes are, Brown & Simmonds are close to 30 and it's doubtful they will be part of our (hopfully) future success. Cogs is comming back from 2 years of injury.

Moore, McGaune, Polo & Foley were impressive
