Why not Koby?

Just interested in everybody's thoughts on Koby Stevens now that we know the Bulldogs got him from West Coast for pick 44? We have pick 42 and, let's be honest here, why would you nominate to go to the Bulldogs if there was a chance you could play for Collingwood? I don't think we are going to get anyone better at 42. He's still very young and a ready to play with the big boys. Maybe we were already on the brink of the TPP now that we have Lynch and Young. Or maybe Hine doesn't rate him at all......?

What would you rather? Alex Fasolo was Pick 45. I'd much rather another Fasolo in another position, because thats what Hine could do, than a Stevens.

Seriously though, he's over rated by most, and I'm glad to see properly rated by those in charge at Collingwood.

Koby Stevens is also leaving to get more game time aswell I believe. He is only young, time is on his side to win a premiership. Why would he leave West Coast were he couldnt get a regular game in the midfield/regular game and come to Collingwood and have the exact same thing happen? When he can goto Bulldogs, get 22 games a year, get paid more for doing it, and become a better player. Seems logical to me as to why he wanted to go there.

Understandably Koby wants game time. If he was happy to be a depth player in the mid field he would've stayed at WC. The addition of Wellingham would've made it even harder for Koby
