Twice in the next minute we kicked into our forward 50, once to Betts on some big monkey, if Fev was there, there were possible goals, what did Fev do wrong, I didnt see anything.

Fev was spent at that stage. He actually stood on the boundary trying to suck in some air. It had nothing to do with being dragged. To Fev's credit he got back out there & kicked a goal & we almost got over the line.

We we're a bit unlucky, but so was Sydney, however Jamo was owning O'Lachlin.

Not really. It was a pretty even battle in the end, and O'Loughlin would've come out on top had he gotten half decent service and wasn't suffering from an ankle complaint. He got rejected for the ankle quite a few times before it got comprehensively worse.

When he moved Goodes to the forward line, our stupid coach, took our best player, and isolated him at fullback. Stopping he dominance in the mid field which bought Sydney back into the game.

Especially when he had Jamo, T-Bird he could of put on him. So why Mr Ratten did you full right into Roo's hands. He was hopeing to stop Gibb's dominance in the midfield. Our w***er coach put him back to the midfield when it was to late.

Ratt's you aren't a coach arseh*le. That one move is what cost us any hope of Final's, not Fev coming off, not the player's, but our dumb coach.

The jist of your post was correct. As sydney got on top, we couldnt win a centre clearance to save ourselves, gibbs had to be moved into the middle to win us the game. The move came way too late. We have defenders to play on forwards, someone like gibbs, who is our most in form midfielder, should not be wasted there.

Easy on ratts, he's still learning, only had a handful of games coaching. No need to turn on him and call him dumb. He'll learn sister!

But once his kick fell short he should have at least stayed on for a minute instead of giving them an extra man to clear through

Agree about Gibbs. He was our best midfielder and we desperately needed him when were getting smashed at the clearances but he was at FB.

Dumb move considering that we had Waite, Austin, Jamo and Thornton all down there and sydney had very few talls for them to cover. Personally I would have put Waite on him.

If i was ratts i would have given judd a spell at full forward, to see how kirk would handle that for a little while. But hey hindsight 20-20.

A great Move, although was a little belated was Grigg- Bolton in the last quarter. Bolton was a catalyst for them winning several clearances in the 3rd, but grigg beat him in the last.

Another definite positive for us is that we ran the 4th best team in the competition right to the wire, with a lot of players not performing, amongst them, stevens and judd.

Yet you consider your red-faced, sand-pit wailings against a club legend who coached us to a 2 point loss against a top 4 side as "true blue" behaviour.

Petulant foot-stomps don't make you a better supporter, rather they signify your inability to dispassionately analyze anything least of all our coaches efforts.
