Why we are this bad

Ok, so we're rebuilding and playing the kids, but we can't be this bad, can we?

These are the reasons that I can come up with to explain our recent performances, especially our away matches. Feel free to add your own below.

Running.
Or lack of. Other teams are running us off our feet at the moment, by running hard to create space, recieve the ball or to chase and provide pressure. Guys like Hill, Ibbo, Peake, Suban, Ruffles & Clarke are all running hard but don't know where to run to. First and foremost, we need to run a hell of a lot harder.

Playing for the team.
Adelaide and Collingwood espically have taught us a lesson in this regard, running in packs at the ball, sheperding for each other and running hard to provide another opition even if they're not used.

Hand Skills.
Case in point tonight. Loopy handballs either to stationery players, the feet of players or behind running players. It's killing us at the moment, and we really need to improve our hand skills.



The sad thing about this is that despite playing such a young team, it's Peake, Dodd, Mundy, Ibbotson, Murphy and Bradley that are making these errors the most.

we don't have any decent senior players on the park.. thats the difference between us and other rebuilding sides. no talent in the 25-30 range.

You're right. But Harvey is worse than that, he is the worst coach in the AFL by a country mile.

Always loved him as a player, but he's an assistant coach - at best. You guys need a coach to take your team by the scruff of the neck and shake it till it performs. You need a coach bigger than the players.

it reallyshone out to me tonight that some players just continually make the same bad decisions over and over.... schammer, thornton, dodd and bradley being the worst..... just horrible. man i felt just so sorry for tarrant and broughton tonight

The teams Dr have given the players too much Ritalin, I think we the fans let them get away wit this crap, we blame everything but the staff and players.

I hate to say, Some one needs there butts kicked for this one, Next week game..Under 20 000 fans will turn up and the numbers will fall if they keep going down like this.

That's exactly what needs to happen, but you can bet next week 30k+ will still turn up and cheer the team on like every home game, they deserve to be ****ing booed and pelted with faeces, I don't care if it sounds Richmond-esque.
