Why we lost?

From what I saw today, which was from quarter time onwards, we had very few options across half forward and and full forward. It seemed like JR was tripple and quadruple teamed almost every time it went forward. This must be a coaching issue. How can we have Griffiths, Vickery and Riwoldt in the side but still only have one forward target.

Not only do we need the coaching staff to try and win games and play some forwards but we are in desperate need of players who are going to work hard into space and to break lines. Just flat, stagnant football.

That's my main impression regarding why we lost. Where do you guys seriously think we lost this game and how to remedy.

Because we kicked 3 goals in 3 quarters against the worst defence in the league.

- We thought the wind would take care of our scoring hence why we were contstantly kicking from 60-70m out instead of looking for targets
- We didn't put numbers behind the ball in the second quarter
- We played possession football in the third quarter when we need to kick 5+ goals
- We played possession football in the 4th quarter even when we were behind

They kicked more goals than us.

A simple game plan.

Because our players "won't pay the price".

Because we have dumb footballers playing for us.
Obviously if there are 3 on JR, there are 2 squibs that are being carried by the team and not making themselves and option .... or the people who get the ball in the midfield and kick it to JR are too blind to see anybody else in the forward line.

One of the big problems in the past few weeks is our goalkicking. Missing too many, especially gettable ones on the run. With more scoreboard pressure a couple of results may have been reversed.

BTW Facebook forums are also in meltdown, over 900 posts.
