Pendlebury trained well today, no problemsI cant see why Dawes could not get a crack, he presents a lot in the VFL and with better delivery he may be an option and at least provide a target. Need to make sure Pendles and Davis are both 100% right I would go with.

I concur. Promote MacAffer for Rusling and lets see what he can do.Well on last weeks form alone it would be an injustice if Dawes played and McCaffer wasnt promoted off the rookie list.
McCaffer kicked four goals in his first game in a few weeks, yet Dawes has not kicked more then 1 for a few weeks.
I think we will see Dawes begin to fully develop next year, 18 months after doing his knee, as has been shown in the past from previous knee reco players like lockyer.
personally i dont think dawes is up to it,
we should try to bring in cameron wood and put fraiser FF and leave chris bryan and cameron wood in the ruck
Cant afford to risk Pendlebury or Davis. Rest them.

McAffer Stanley Cook

Chris Dawes is certainly one who has been playing the key forward role in the VFL, and he will come up in our match committee discussions as we make decisions on what is the best team to put out against them.
There will be someone coming in to cover Travis's role for us this week, so I can't foresee too many positional changes to cover his absence. It's about playing a role, and we have some players in the VFL playing in the forward line at the moment that we will be looking to come in and play that role.
The decision will need to be made on whether that will be another tall player or a medium-sized or a small.
I personally think collingwood needs a "BUDDY" use are really struggling in the forward deparment, think u need to ring up the Hawthorn football club so they can give a few tips on how a forward line structures.
I'm leaning to us going in small in the forward line and try to create mismatches for their backmen. This will also help to create defensive pressure in our forward line.
I cant recall the last time we gave this a serious shot and in any event our current small forwards are better these days. It would involve much of our forward line pushing up the ground into the centre and leaving a lot of space in our forward line to run back in to.They have tried that and has Failed each time![]()
