I reckon we will just try to patch it up by bringing in Wood and having Fraser/Bryan play as a tall in the forward line. Only in the goal square though with someone at their feet, with Reid up the ground.

I cant recall the last time we gave this a serious shot and in any event our current small forwards are better these days. It would involve much of our forward line pushing up the ground into the centre and leaving a lot of space in our forward line to run back in to.

This also creates a more crowded centre corridor which may assist against their superior midfielders. This is especially so at Teltra dome.

Agree with that. I think it is what they will do. Pretty similar to they did against essendon. Reid leading hard as the go to target up the wings and smalls in the foward line with medhurst being the pseudo FF

Dawes I think is the kind of player who could have an impact at senior level without previously dominating in the 2's, similar to Heater, Goldsack etc. From what I saw last year I think he will make the grade - he has the capacity to mark out in front at speed in similar fashion to Fev, which very few player can do. I think he has suffered from poor delivery from the reserves midfield. Reid, as a roaming half forward, is more likely to dominate in the 2's.
