Will Matthew Knights coach again?

i think melbourne should a) throw an open cheque book at all of b. scott, g. ayres, and m. harvey and see which would bite. i think any of these guys would be decent for the club.

as for Knights, a developement role at the club (as assistant to choco) would be his best chance of being back at Tigerland, maybe as a forwards coach

He did a lot more development wise at Essendon than most people will give him credit for. I mean Jobe was utter shit before Knights.

Correct me if I am wrong but I believe there was a bloke by the name of Alan Richardson within the development role at Essendon whilst Knights was there . Who has also been at Collingwood when they seen a step improvement in their players development and is now at Port ?

Jobe was utter shit before AOD9064 & the other peptides he was a little porker who Sheedy nearly ended his career before it started. He slimmed right down last year it was more noticeable with him than any other Essendon player. This is why if he has any morals he hands back the Brownlow.

If Melbourne appointed Knights, they would be laughed out of the AFL. Not because I don't think he could do the job, but the image of a 'failed' coach taking over from a multitude of failed coaches would almost be the deathknell for them. The next coaching appointment is probably the most important decision in that club's history and there is no way they will go to a failed coach.

In fairness Tugg all those being bandied around , with the exception of Roos have seemingly been sacked . Eade / Choco / Ayres . With Choco and Roos being the only premiership coaches available .
I would think Alan Richardson should be their number 1 candidate , although it wouldn't concern me to much if they go high profile , ala Terry Wallace to RFC .

We need to be desperately targeting knights as our VFL coach for next year. Ex Richmond star with proven track record of developing younger players?? Time to make amends for any bad blood between the club and knights and get him the **** into our coaching staff

Have said it before he is a must & the next step in our jigsaw puzzle!

Any news on Knighta? A lot of assistant coaches and persons from Geelong have had a lot of success coming from that club, which in itself is extremely successful. Therefore, is Knighta ripe for the picking? Can we offer him a position?

Ps Given that we are a big club it would be nice to really continue to press this off field advantage before clubs are restricted in some way.
