All eras come to an end. The younger teams get better while the older teams get worse. Geelong are one of the older teams in the competition with the likes of Scarlett, Milburn, Wojcinski, Ottens, possibly Harley etc. I don't think they'll be able to compete with the speed of the game next year. Sure, they should make the 8, but most of the other teams have been developing the youth nicely and will end up better.

Maybe, Saints are there equal and Dogs and Hawks may join these two next year. I think each of these teams have as good a chance as each other. Collingwood and Adelaide may be dangerous but I think they have another year of improving to do at least.

I think whoever is the luckiest of the 4 teams will get th prize next year.

Yeah they're getting older and carry extra injuries every year, but they have a successful game plan and a great coach that might just give them another shot at the flag.

Wojinski and Ottens are 29,Scarlett is 30. I think you will find the Bulldogs have more older players than Geelong.
