i'm not sure if he is on the trade table, but i just think with neil craig saying that the crows will be active during the trade period, given he is a VIC boy he may figure in some trades.

For us, it would be robbing Peter to pay Paul. Yes, we'd like a gun forward (and part-time midfielder), but to trade Knights leaves us with a massive hole in our midfield of the future. In fact, I'd be looking for another young, hardrunning midfielder before I looked at a forward. We have developing forwards (albeit they're not ready yet). What about the midfield?

As good as Dids is, and as much as he'd be great to have, Knights is too important to us.

i think that it would be more likely to be accepted if you threw in your first pick as well.

Finally a trade on this site that sounds reasonable and not ridiculous. Im in two minds as I rate Knights very highly and wouldnt want too trade him. But if you break it down, Didak for Knights is a win for us, and pick 14 for Meesen is like winning cross lotto. Plus it saves us from losing Meesen for nothing or Knights for nothing in the future. So as much as it would gut me to lose Knights, its a deal we would have to do. Something tells me the Pies would reject the deal and we would need to sweeten it with at least our 2nd pick...

you're entitled to your opinion but keep in mind that it's yours only. there are a few people who actually think the trade has some legs.

and it's amazing how just one game has made people think that didak is an absolute A-grade midfielder. he has never consistently gone into the middle and won games off his own boot.

how many years have we been waiting patiently for him to have a big pre-season and then break into our midfield? even leon has gone past him in that regard.

it's hurts sometimes to think that we took didak at 3 when we could have taken shaun burgoyne or daniel kerr, both of whom are far superior players.
