Given Luke is the near enough certainty to be picked up with the first pick.

Whats the chances of Matthew Ball making the grade?

From his 2nd half of the year down at BoxHill he looked very good. I thought his finals series in particular was excellent. He has good size, reasonalbe skills and from the 'huddles' seems a very good 'club' man. Always positive and giving encouragment.

Id would definitly give him another shot at the rookie list and perhaps a real solid pre-season under Bodan to see if there isnt some improvement in him yet.

Thoughts?

i reckon he showed tremendous improvement throughought last season Grendel.... i would like to see Baird, Mitchell and even Brewer given an opportunity on our list, but maybe im just being overly romantic about Box Hills performances .....
