With Hawthorn playing Geelong this week I can't see Franklin scoring more than 50 points.

Surely the Geelong defence will frustrate the hell out of him, he is sure to give away a few free kicks and get at least 5 clangers. So even if he kicks a few goals I can't see him scoring well.

If you've got bench options will you consider starting them over Franklin? With Hansen playing against Melbourne this week it is very tempting.

he also has the chance to kick 3 last quarter goals winning the game and scoring a ton.

bench him at your own peril.

Even if Geelong sufficate him in the forward line, he is very capable of going up the ground and getting plenty of touches. It would be a brave/stupid move to bench him.

You Geelong supporters are sounding very nervous this week. Should I be tipping Hawthorn?

Nah not nervous mate, just talking from a Supercoach perspective. Surely the players on most people's benches are on the bench for a reason, and that reason being they are not better than the players they use on the ground. I just dont think its wise to ever bench buddy, sure he has bad games and other times he gets massive scores but who can predict that before it happens, you wouldnt want to miss the big scores by benching him, not saying thats this week, i hope he has a cr@p game this week, but its just to risky to bench big name players, ever.

and tip with ur head not what you hear on BF

I only got him in last week there's no way in hell id bench him.

Anyway, who would stupidly have a bench player worth considering to take his place.

it would be arrogant to think we'd be a shoe in, anything can happen.

As for Buddy, I also only just brought him in and I doubt Valenti (e) would score more then him.

I can understand what a few people are saying in regards to bench options etc and that would no doubt rule a number of people out straight away, but if you do have bench options it may be worth considering.

Yes, you can miss out on a big score and that is the risk you take, I found myself in a similar situation earlier this year when I had to choose two of Roughead, Harding and Rioli each week. For a couple of weeks I benched Roughead and played Harding and Rioli, one week it worked cos Roughy scored 39 and Harding and Rioli both scored at least double that, but the following week it didn't cos Roughy scored over 100.

I'm just figuring with Hansen playing against Melbourne there is an opportunity for him to score well and Franklin hasn't been in great form of late, only 1 of his last 4 weeks have been decent.

I believe it was "You can NOT be serious" ;)
LOL my bad

Anyway, back on topic, i would say it's more than likely that Buddy will be quiet but he's too good a player to sit on the bench with what he can potentially score. Scarlett will be a tough opponent (if thats who goes to him) but from what i saw last week Scarlett has a tendency to run up the ground alot. Not the worse thing in the world for Buddy..
