It is an interesting draft for the Dockers. Like you I think that if they are confident that there will be a cluster of tall options at our 2nd round selections, and that Shaw and Jachs in particular are gone, then there should be a pretty decent midfielder available, and we should go for him.

Would only accept a midfielder if Shaw and Janchz are gone. It would be stupid to bypass best available tall for another midfielder that we can easily pick up next year. Unfortunately, if what I heard from Stever Rosich is true then we are going to trade for, free-agent mature KPP next year (where have i heard that before). Same old shite I'm afraid.

Every year people doing these phantom drafts tip the Eagles to go for midfielders in preference to every other position. I wouldn't be surprised if they go for the best midfielder that they can get this year, but I also think they might go for another young ruckman or another tall defender as well.
