The most interesting Round 1 match from a betting perspective is Kudermetova v Golubic.

Pinnacle opened Kudermetova at $1.74. Seemed about right to me.

I've checked through the odds the next morning and looking at the pinnacle flucs, within the 1st hour of trading someone has absolutely smashed Golubic and Kudermetova has gone out to $2.26.

Then since then there has been a steady flow of cash for Kudermetova to bring her into $1.68.

I wonder how much cash it takes to take someone from $1.74 to $2.26 with pinnacle. Just after opening probably not THAT much, so you wonder whether someone is trying to manipulate the market and get all the other bookies that just lazily set their lines off pinnacle to put Kudermetova up over $2 and smash the crap out of them OR is there just some Russian that knows Kudermetova is injured and has pounded the Golubic line and then all the punters that don't have that info have backed her back into her right price

Will be staying well away from this match but interesting to see what happens.

Pinnacle openers have a max bet of a few hundred dollars so I wouldn't make too much of the movement.

The women's title is wide open- some very juicy odds for name the finalist.... the favourite combo starts at $30+!

I've backed barty vs everyone quoted as a leg in small stake multis that pay out large.

If ash makes the final and novak wins the mens I'm expecting to be in line for a ~$3k-10k win off a total $80 outlay. (Payout would depend on who ash plays in the final)

(Other multi legs are things like one of cats/dees/lions/dogs to win the flag, dan andrews and scomo to win their elections, usa men and women to win olympic gold basketball)

Long story shot- womens title is an absolute guessing game (reflected by the odds on offer)... may as well pick barty's name out of the hat and cheer her on.

I'll take Kerber v Kvitova at 150/1 for the lols

Do any of these Request A Bets appeal for Djokovic Round 1 match against Draper?

Spewing that I missed out on Djoker to drop the first set.

He is picking up here where he left off in France with the blatant and shameless rope-a-dope.

How does he keep getting away with it?

Tsitsipas gone in 1st round. Fair to say no one saw that coming.

Day 1

3 units Korda over ADM @ $2.62
3 units multi RBA over Millman, Seppi over Sousa & Anderson over Barrios Vera @ $2.25
1 unit Tiafoe over Tsitsipas @ $6.51 (effective odds excl. commission)
0.5 units Stosur over Rogers @ $10 - this sh*t should be tax deductible but quoting Shelby Rogers to 3 decimal places, please

*Ahem*

He probably needed the break physically after a massive clay court season but not playing a warm up tournament was always going to be a disadvantage heading into Wimbledon. He was gambling he would get an easy R1 and ended up with one of the half dozen or so dangerous floaters that no one wanted to draw R1.

The multi won and the other two were held over to tonight because of the weather. Gives ADM an extra day to recover which is not ideal.

Kyrgios 2-2 sets all against Humbert

and 3-3 games in the 5th set before the curfew.

Just wondering who will the curfew break favour here?

You'd think Humbert given Kyrgios plays so much on emotion

I Expected Kyrgios to be favourite

but given the state of play its currently a coin flip

Kyrgios $2.00 v $1.96 Humbert

Humbert is the more consistent player, would probably back him over 5 sets. The break probably suits Nick.

Kyrgios not exactly match fit though so deep in the 5th would have to favour Humbert if they kept going last night. Complete crapshoot when they restart.

But Kyrgios could equally be stiff as a board after playing his first game all year?

Your right though - hardly a market anyone needs to be playing in

Whoever gets through load their opponent next round

Day 3

3 units Vesely over Fucsovics @ $2.52 (effective odds excl. commission)
2 units Putinseva over Tsurenko @ $2.20
2 units Kecmanovic over RBA @ $3.85 - had RBA in the multi on day 1 and he made very hard work of Millman on grass and Millman sucks on grass, I watched the end of it and he collapsed on the second last point and had to get up to serve to win the breaker and the match. Luckily he did as no way he could have played a 5th set. There is $4 available about this out there but I took it with a 1st set bookie just in case he retires if losing.

Kygrios Under 35.5 feels pretty comfortable to me, yes he lacks match play but the bloke hes playing has hardly played a circuit level match on grass.
