A 14 man injury list. When will we have some luck with injuries!!

2-1 is a great result considering the injuries so far. If we won this week it would be amazing and leave us very well placed for the finals.

At least half of them are "should be available" or "test".

OP updated to reflect current injury list.

So how did Porps pull up after the Showdown? I heard he popped his shoulder while listening to the match on the wireless, and WA media has hardly mentioned anything regarding Crow injuries and such.

John Reid stated that Myke Cook injured his hamstring today. Not sure how badly but it's getting a bit ridiculous now. I stand by my comment that he will be the Mackay of 2008.
Muscle injuries seem to be a frequent problem with draftees.

Mackay - season hammy.
Cook - hammy
Sellar - groin
Dangerfield - missed a lot of pre season before christmas with a quad (???)
Walker - Calf

perhaps players are too young and aren't eased into pre-season training enough? Kite also injured himself in a warm up...

Chris Knights (quad): 2 weeks
Brad Moran (fractured finger). 2-3 weeks
Brent Reilly (wrist): 5 weeks
Aaron Kite (knee): 1 week
Greg Gallman (knee): Test
Nick Gill (hamstring):2 weeks
Luke Jericho (cracked sternum): 2 weeks
Kris Massie (hamstring): 1 week
Bryce Campbell (ankle): Test
Myke Cook (hamstring): 1-2 weeks
Rhett Biglands (knee): season

Friggin awesome to see a Hentschel-less injury report! Kinda looks weird without him on there.

OP Updated.

Looks like it's going to be on for young and old in R7. Should get a heap of players back - Knights, Moran (possibly), Gill, Kite, Massie, Jericho & Cook all due back by then. Plus Gallman & Campbell, both listed as "test". Will be nice to have some options available for the selection panel.

i really hope Knights can be back in 2 weeks (round 7; 6 might be pushing it), because i remember at the start of the season, when they said it was 1 or 2 weeks, when i knew that something was too suspicious and it was always going to be longer.

i'm thinking that with the break after round 7, those listed as 2 weeks, would probably be given the extra time to recover...ie, back in round 8. unless we are desperate of course.

Douglas: Sprained medial ligament, possibly out a few weeks but more will be known in the upcoming days.

Symes: Walking around with a moon boot. Uh oh. Could potentially be back after the All Star game but you would think it’s unlikely. So much for being close to coming up this week...?

Moran: Injured his hamstring, seems reasonably serious too, will be our at least 3 weeks.

Porplyzia: Needs shoulder surgery but will be managed throughout the season.

OP updated.

Second week in a row that Symes ankle injury has remained listed as 2-3 weeks. Can't be responding to treatment as they would have hoped.

Flip side is that Moran's hamstring dropped from 6 weeks to 4 within the space of one week. Nice to have some good news to report on him for a change.

Looking forward to having Radar back in action, now that he's finally out of the cast.

Can we get an update on the Brad Syme injury please ? How is the ankle coming along ?

OP updated to reflect current injury list.

Good news
Brad Symes is finally out of the moon boot (albeit still 2 weeks away from returning)
Greg Gallman is FINALLY off the injury list (played in the reserves last week)

Bad news
Myke Cook's hamstring remains at 3 weeks (no change from last week)
