We should get over the line if we stick to our gameplan and don't underestimate the Demons, they have got quite a good bunch of young guys just like ourselves, the only difference being that most of their veterans are on the injury lists for them.
Brad Green and Wonaeamirri may be back this week too.

We might lead by 36 at 1/4 time and end up only winning by 2 goals.

I'm concerned about this game, mainly because we are such huge favourites.

They shouldn't get anywhere near us, but I'll say Essendon by 23

Melbourne will be very competitive, but Essendons ability to kick heaps of goals in bursts will kill them. We are a class better than them so we just have to play consistently and we should win by 30-40 points easily.

Also Melbourne tend to get off to a bad start in all their games, so I wouldn't be suprised if we were 40 points up at qtr time and won by just 50 points.

Shouldn't underestimate the Dees. Collingwood underestimated us and felt the pain. That being said we are working well as a team and it seems that there is no complacency creeping in. 22 guys working hard should see us Over the line fairly comfortably. It would be great to have a big win for a little percentage but a strong team performance is what we should be looking for. Good Luck to Lloydy on kicking the goals he needs to move up in the all time goal kickers.

I missed the collingwood game last week - i was at Mt Bulla stacking it down hills - couldnt get radio reception and only found out we won at 9pm when i got home..

I was wrapped!!! Back on the finals bandwagon...

Essendon by < 10... Just has the stampings of the Richmond game all over it... Never like going to a game expecting to win... The only thing that gives me slight comfort is that Melbourne have all but assured themselves of the number one pick now, and they wouldn't want to jeopardize that by beating us...
