Greg Denham (Australian) was saying on SEN this morning with KB that there is at least 3 clubs interested in Woey at this stage and that there is a high likelihood of Collingwood getting some sort of trade for Woey as long as the former #2 agrees to a realistic contract $ wise at his new club. 3rd rd draft pick is probably the market value.

Balmey also said to KB that if we are to trade Cole etc, we are predominantly interested in draft picks in return and trying to build the list with our own youngsters as opposed to any short term band-aid solutions.

I would love to know which three clubs ? One newspaper says he will be lucky to find a new home and now he is demand by at least three clubs ?
Who knows what to believe ??

Woey is a footballer that relies on passion and pride to bring out his best. He lived out of his car before picked up by the Dees, indicating his hunger and desire to succeed, won the brownlow a couple of years later, had trouble living up to the hype the following year and then got cut without discussion about him taking a pay cut to stay at the Dees, sent to a club (my club) he didn't like, possibly suffering with depression from the way he was discarded and now he's discovering his hunger for the game he loves. So good luck Woey, hope you get to play elsewhere and we'll fill your position with somebody who wants to be at the pies...

Greg Denham is late with the Woey trade news, I was sitting near Balmey last Thursday when the Woey trade was being done. Sorry I don't have the deals particulars or the club but Balmey kept walking away.

For a third round pick I'd trade him. Four a fourth round pick or worse I'd keep him.

Either way I think he'll still be playing AFL next season.
