Does anyone here set tough rules for themselves to make it more challenging?

I do the "hard" mode where you must always re-use any discovered letters. But I also start with a word which doesnt help much (there are many far better 1st word options): SWORD

Im on 91% success. With no restrictions I was on 100% after 150 goes (or something like that).

I don't play on hard mode, but I ensure I am using the discovered letters. Very rarely I will punch in a word that does not have previously acquired letters.
