I practically end up running the social events at university for my area by default, I just go through the motions and ask everyone what they want to do, just so the powers that be can fund it.

Suggested a fishing trip over Facebook, and left a link to the charter company to look at it. As those who use Facebook know, when you leave a link, it will give a Google synopsis of what the site is.

I sent them the site for "special catering", given that they cater specially for uni crowds.

Instead, Google insisted on showing only "MELBOURNE CHARTER FISHING: We cater for bucks nights, topless waitresses and strippers available"

First time I've ever actually heard from the angry feminists on the social committees before.

Two of the girls in our group of friends were working together 5-6 years back whilst going through Uni, doing some data entry for a bank. They went to high school together and their friendship had deteriorated a bit and everyone knew they didnt get along but they were always civil/nice to each other. This was when we'd all catch up every weekend for parties/clubs/raves etc. They were also going out with two mates of mine who had been mates for 10+ years.

At work one of them wrote an email to a work colleague...pretty spiteful like 'if the ****ing **** trys that with me then ill break her ****ing ribs and step on her face'. Like you'd see in a movie, she mistakingly sent it to the whole business wide email/news group, including the other friend of ours. She didnt realise until the next day when the security guard wouldnt let her in and then told her she had 30 seconds to get her stuff then she'd be escorted out.

Obviously shit hit the fan and it pretty much tore our group of friends in half for the best part of 6 months. Wasnt the most enjoyable situation.

Long story short, customer's son emails my work email that he had obtained from him. Went to forward on the issue and email to one of my workmates and started with 'got some ****er emailing me....", went straight back to him instead.:D Apoligised and was all good, but some idiot from a competing company saw the email when it was forwarded to him and dobbed. Nothing much happened, told not to do it again.

Girl in our office was emailing one of the guys in another department, apparently something about enjoying giving him head etc, etc. Accidently sent it to the whole company.:thumbsu: Had a phone conference with the other offices around Australia 10mins later, lots of lolz all round and plenty of questions asked about said girl and expertise.

Had a few guys sending pr0n to the entire company, and a girl on her first day sending a sex test email to the entire company for 'when you are bored at work'. Lulz-a-plenty.

Back at school we had year group forums and stuff.

Knowing other peoples passwords made for some interesting posts that people had no idea about. Was great fun, but never got people into major trouble.

I haven't seen too many but once when I was working in a government call centre, the phones shat themselves so no calls could come in, and an email was sent around advising of this.

One chick thought she would have a laugh and edited the email including stuff about Telstra ****ing up... unfortunately she must have chosen "reply to all" and it went to everyone. She copped a bit of a blast and was in tears apparently (sadly I did not see this) but was a bit of a laugh in a very boring day.
