For current players, Ty Vickery has to be giving it a nudge - the bloke has played over a hundred games for christ sake...

Nowhere near the worst though, bloke actually has talent, he's just inconsistent. For current players, Ty Vickery has to be giving it a nudge - the bloke has played over a hundred games for christ sake...
I see Keating get mentioned a bit here and its hard to argue. In his defence he took Luke Darcy and Scott Wynd to the cleaners in the 97 prelim final.Aaron Keating wins that hands down.
The worst player I've ever seen was Tim Elliott. Played more than 50 games too I'm quite sure throughout the mid to late 90s.
One of those players who would tear up the VFL once a year and earn a spot in the senior side for 3 months after as a result.

Tayte "Rabbit in the headlights" Pears.
absolute A grade spud.
Todd Banfield.
Fumbled it every time he touched it.
First year he was pretty good and looked to have a substantial career beckoning, but for some reason really deteriorated from there.
It's been good to see him back and involved with the Swans in the WAFL the last couple of years, heard a lot of good things about him as a person.
We had quite a lot of players who played < 5 games in the Bailey and Neeld eras that you've probably never even heard of. I guess technically they're better candidates than players like Fiora, Peter Street who are more your notorious bad players. I'm sure they had the occasional good game along the way.
Isaac Weetra, Jace Bode, Troy Davis, Tom McNamara, Josh Tynan are just a few names off the top of my head.
If you've watched him once in your life and not just follow the bandwagon, you'll know he's actually a good player. His only weakness is his kicking and that's improved tenfold for him in the SANFL this year.
As for the worst player I've ever seen, Nathan van Berlo comes to mind a bit. There were some Melbourne players from 07-12 that could take this award out easily.

Still kicked more goals than games, could be alot worse, played international rules aswell.Todd Banfield.
Fumbled it every time he touched it.
If you never had to gather a rolling ball he was a decent footballer. Unfortunately "Concrete Hands" was a nickname that stuck. Not 50 games but Nathan Djerkurra. Or however you spell it.
Ty Zantuck- I don't remember him doing one good thing on the football field.
Maybe him being a deadshit is tainting my memory of him though
Dont blame pagan for you being shit. Blame your club for being caught cheating. When you don't get picked up by Carlton in the depths of the crap Pagan era of the mid 00's. despite doing a pre season with us, you know you're sh*t!!!
Todd is about at that ex Melbourne guy Michael Newton's level...ie very very ordinary.
But they both have a bit on Liam McBean i reckon.
and a MOTY tooBit harsh on Newton, he was a dud but still kicked 35 goals in 28 games.
