Israel Folau is easily the biggest fish out of water I've seen on an AFL field. And it's not even remotely close either.

Karmichael Hunt had moments, at times he seemed he'd make it or at least be decent depth for Gold Coast.

Folau was shocking, attitude wise aswell.

No chance, McBean won a VFL leader goalkicker award (yes I know this is about AFL players), was very strong in the reserves but just wasn't able to put that into AFL performance as he wasn't physically strong enough to play key forward, played like a small forward.

Elton on the other hand, he has never lit up the VFL, hasn't shown much at AFL level, and I don't think I've ever seen a worse set shot.

I'll bow to you Tigers' judgement...but from what i saw, McBean dunged his dacks at his 1st AFL contest and Dimma gave him his 3 promised games and couldn't wait to dump him. Liam was a total fish out of water at AFL level.

In saying that, i'll have to keep a closer eye on this Elton fella i guess.

Ben Mckinley - We got him from WCE and he only played 1 or 2 games. Pretty terrible.
Jordan Gysberts - Didnt get a game for us and was delisted.
Will Sierakowski - played a couple games not AFL level
Max Warren - Played one game immediately dropped and delisted at years end.

How this has been allowed to occur is one of the greatest mysteries of all times. You forgot to mention the 5 clangers and 3 HTB FA... but apparently he puts on a few decent blocks per game and has a decent left hoof. Other than that, we are devoid of clues that will allow us to solve this perplexion. Although it does appear he has run his race, which makes us all feel rather grateful. Anyone want him at the end of this year?

If there was a melee, he was in the thick of it. Good sledger, really good tank and played as a "Shepparder". Just don't let him run with the ball.

Of the 50 gamers maybe Aaron Henneman.

Of the sub 50 games I always wondered what the hell Ryan Pagan was doing on an AFL list (even his old man must've seen he wasn't up to it). I remember watching him get slaughtered in the VFL by Dave Robbins one match, who was head and shoulders above him as a footballer but also not AFL standard(despite 2 Liston Medals) but Ryan Pagan was even less so.

We had quite a lot of players who played < 5 games in the Bailey and Neeld eras that you've probably never even heard of. I guess technically they're better candidates than players like Fiora, Peter Street who are more your notorious bad players. I'm sure they had the occasional good game along the way.

Isaac Weetra, Jace Bode, Troy Davis, Tom McNamara, Josh Tynan are just a few names off the top of my head.

Oh, I do not blame GWS. They were starting out from scratch and just some weird idea tried by the AFL with them. GWS moved beyond that fairly quickly once a club culture was properly set up. I think GWS have started up their club better than most of the expansion clubs.
