Got the creeps at Strathfield station in Sydney in 2013, found out why a few weeks later when the young girl got r*ped.

As for Brisbane, don't really know if there are too many decent ones.

hmm basically anything on the bankstown line looks like crap out of a horror movie and gives rape vibes.

but as for the worst my pick as someone who rarely takes public transport

carlingford station:

Noticed something cluey from ticket inspectors. Saw on 3 occasions on the one trip, a police officer and a ticket inspector waiting on the platform to target someone as they left the train and succeeded. Obviously had been monitoring CCTV, knew who hadn't swiped, what carriage they were in.

At the main stop, 4 groups of ticket inspector/coppers were doing this. They got it right each time.

That's clever.

Not in the rapey sense but Sydney Town Hall station is incredibly uncomfortable. Always crowded, always hot and humid, narrow platforms with almost no seating. It's just gross.

I always think of this scene when using that underground..

Can't forget Salisbury interchange with the lovely men and women that hang around there drinking thier fine and exquistite fruity lexia.
And the classy establisment just next door in the Eureka Tavern, and of course the mecca of shopping Parabanks.

In all seriousness I despise having to go to Parabanks, as it has the closest Big W to my house, feel like I need a decontamination shower after I leave

The Eureka has been tidied up a fair bit now that it's owned by Woolies, and the House of Schnitzel is not too bad. Pre-Woolies it was an absolute dive and more known for some pretty hairy brawls. The Stockade, right next door to Salisbury Interchange is still a dive.

Ah good ol Parabanks - as seen on Bogan Hunters.

Been at Pooraka for decades
This was late 70's, early 80's. Use to go there very second Saturday morning on the way to Elizabeth or Salisbury for junior soccer games. Elizabeth Shopping center was just a small square, surrounded by parkland on 3 sides, all small business, not under cover. The road North was considered an exploration of the bush.

I could be wrong about Paddys market.

Even Central is the same, particularly with the narrow corridors that connect platforms. Same with the Domestic Airport...

Good to see a firm crackdown on serious crime...

Port Adelaide is pretty average (was about 3 years ago admittedly). More like something you'd expect in the middle of nowhere like Coober Pedy.

Just from having driven past them, most of the stops on the Outer Harbour line from Port Adelaide onwards have a bit of a middle of nowhere vibe, particularly if you were sitting there at night. The Outer Harbour stop (end of the line) in particular seems like the end of the earth (in a way, it kind of is).

Old and creepy those stations past Port Adelaide (elevated platform over the main road in and real american slum feel) however, upon alighting and heading west, you get a pleasant surprise a few minutes walk away. If you get off at largs, your 2 minutes walk away from a pub with an unbelievable musical history.
