Worst year for SuperCoach

Seriously this is the most difficult season, my second team has 5 zeros. And theres nothing to do.

You've invested time into rookies, they get dropped, rested, with the speed of the game injuries are happening so much. I've got like 4 keepers on my bench injured. I trade in Hibberd, gets injured.

Then you've gotta contend with the sub bs. Potentially you could lose two players.


this game is incredibly frustrating. I can't be the only one.

My problems all began when I had to restructure my perfectly balanced team due to the late preseason injury of (well I don't want to name and shame) let's just call him R Gray. No no, that's too obvious lets just call him Robbie G.

Same, had 2 late changes this week (Hargrave and Porps) and Ablett, and Sandi on the bench, still managed to avoid donuts so far this season (though I have Malceski, Smedts, Kennedy and Ellis all being subbed or injured).

2 - Allow all bench players to be emergencies (auto taking the highest scorer first)

while it's poor to have a 2nd team, i have to agree with the sentiment that it has been an extremely difficult year already with injuries, subs and lack of prominent rookies etc... i just hope for everyone's sake that the 2nd half of the year should be a lot better once teams start filling out with premiums.

Its been the past two rounds, with a ton of injuries to prominent SC players, that have been causing so much distress.
One of my opponents last week had 5 doughnuts, scored 1819. This week he/she scored 2198! Whereas on the otherhand, after scoring 2143 last week, I only managed a lowly 1880. I mean, seriously, take a gander at the names that haven't played the last rounds. It's like a war memorial.

Things will pick up soon. Then the bye rounds will come, and it will be like the SC version of the battle of the bulge.

Let mE say my second team is only for players i like to watch. And to fill my work team league. I agree with sub changes. All emerg should be auto sub. I must admit i screwed up by forgetting to change captaon and had shiel captain. I also didnt realize porpz was out.

For those whinging about bad luck, injuries, substitutes and late withdrawals......nothing bad luck about that IMO....

If you pick a guy like Porps, Sandi, Mummy or Hargrave then you would factor in these guys missing at least a couple of games a year....unfortunately you can't choose when. It's like saying 'how would I know Drummond wouldnt play every match, just bad luck'...well bullshit it is!

I selected Mumford and thought he would miss a couple but later in the year, turns out they were early and ****ed me but I'll take the wrap for it and move on.

Have had injuries, suspensions, players rested and subbed, but no donuts as yet.

A lot of the skill in SC is actually choosing players who are somewhat immune to a lot of that, whilst still compromising for high scorers.

For example, I specifically decided after a couple of rounds to avoid Essendon players (eg. Dempsey), and not just simply because I don't like them

When and how to use your trades is also a major factor, which requires a lot of knowledge and skill to get it right.

If you are playing for league wins, that also adds a whole new dimension.

You don't need another team for a different league! You can submit the one team into 5 different leagues.

What's wrong with having a second team?

It's technically cheating and is against the rules. And if you by some miracle you do happen get the highest score of the round (or the year) then you will not be eligible for the prize money due to having more than one team.

I only have one team and have not had a single zero on the field so far. Yes, many of my players have been injured or dropped, that is why we have reserves to cover! And if your reserves are not enough, then you trade! This is a fantasy football game, the aim is to manage a team successfully through all the ups and downs. This year is no worse than any other year.

Multiple teams are for people who are too pissweak to back their own decisions, it's also against the rules
