so did freos 2nds i hear.
He's certainly come a long way since being outside Carlton's best 22 at the start of the year...Can't see who he'd replace in our best 22.
Bit of a worry

He's still s**t ..
Nick 'fudge' Maxwell is now the worst AA player of all time.
Presti, Leigh Brown, Maxwell, Heath Shaw, Harry O'Brien, Alan Toovey would all be walk up starts to Carlton's defence. You traded your only defender for a martial artist.
Haven't read the 50 odd vitriolic spews on Nick Maxwell... so I'll say that although I rate him, he'd not get a game at Geelong, our flankers/pocket players are way above him... as I say, I do rate him and like him, but no cigar in a premiership team
He has comfortably gone past Tom Harley.
That's no slight on Harley either, father time waits for nobody but Maxwell would easily slot in for him in your lineup.
Wrong
Our best backline is...
Hunt, Scarlett, Milburn
Mackie, Taylor, Enright
Milburn is retiring, so Kelly slots in. Maxwell cannot get in... but I'd give him a slot on the bench as a change up utility... can mark, can run, has a cool head under pressure, so he could go forward for us if there was an injury... but only the bench in our best 22 (ffs he'd be better than Blake!)
Alan Toovey, Leigh Brown.. No team with those 2 players in it will win a premiership
If only we had O'Brien, Goldsack, L.Brown and Toovey getting a game with their silky skills.I find this thread surprising when the OP's team has Paul Bower as their starting CHB. I think Bradshaw LOL'd when Bower came to him
The AA side is now a team picked to mostly honor the seasons of the top eight teams...Then I guess Carlton aint gonna get a rep in the AA all that much
