Ok say we are somehow able to manufacture a trade like last year with West Coast and St Kilda in regards to Michael Gardiner. So basically something like

pick 50 for Jeff Farmer and pick 55.

would you do it?

We've basically lost nothing and got a player one of our favourtie sons who despite his obvious off field problems would easily be most beneficial towards our side. If he was to come our forward line would be extremely dangerous. Personally I think our premiship window is still open next year, Jeff would perfectly compliment his good mate David Neitz. His first game back this year he bagged 4 and was close to BOG. He's by no means a dud, should have got AA honours last year.

Nether the less he is clearly a loose cannon off the field and I'm in no position to say that this would not continue if came back to Melbourne. Also he's 30 years old so he might turn out to be a bit of a liabillity?

Just a hypothetical champ, not really that big of a deal. Anyway apparently the thing has been a bit of beat up nether the less though his future at Fremantle can't be 100% certain.

My point was i dont think he would leave WA to play footy, IMO he would prefer not to play AFL than to go back to Victoria.

I think its a bit of an overreaction by everyone, which is what happens when the Wizz is involved.

Yeak fair enough, if things didn't go right I imagine that would be the probable outcome. Which would be a shame cause I think he's still got a bit to offer

Jefferey is a very different player and person now to what he was when he was with us. No thanks. I hope he pulls it all together though, it's sad to see how far he's fallen, kinda like Michael Jackson.

his Parole office won't allow him to leave the state, so no chance.

i'd take him for nothing. w***er or not, he showed when he came back that he still has what it takes to play at this level and contribute, he didn't really get into any trouble at melbourne that i remember, so i would consider it
