Seems my mail a few weeks back is correct with Trojinovski (or however you spell it) heading back to the EDFL either to his original club Keilor or to Pasco Vale.

Very true secure- all these players and only 2 teams to fill and the money that is being thrown around is crazy if its true..
On a seperate issue - Quick question to Begbee, how did philpott get out of his 2 year deal with Albion to move clubs, as I hear on the good old grapevine that there maybe a few WRFL clubs looking for this information with players going from one club to another within the same comp!!

I heard that clubs have poached the Training staff, The Godfather, Canteen Staff, the blokes on Heckler Hill and the DJ who does club functions.Massive news out of spotty from the fall out of the end of season trip. Every 30 plus year old player has signed at Abbers for $700 per game and a contract point being only play 5 minutes for 6 games. Further news is that the entire senior list has signed with Deer Park because "well why not the whole of Victoria is going there?" The only player staying is Will the Rock Star Phillips and the club will rebuild around him.
Why a Colts player ? Plenty of quality players in Div 1. They need about 15 of them if they want to be any where near competitive otherwise it will be Glenorden type sort of hidings circa 2011 they will be in for.Heard Deer Park losing Daley as well? But have signed some Marby Park players.
Yarraville getting the backing of the Yarraville Club this season$$$$$, but coach struggling to come up with Divvy 1 quality in recruitment? A Colts player may fit the bill?
Hoppers signed an ex-afl player plus a couple others.
Albion may have lost a couple is my mail & a surprise in that.
Interesting the low turnover on coaches this year; Deer Park, Nth Foots
If its one of their better players wont do the budget any harm as they are going to have to find a fair bit extra to pay Josh Fraser. Nice replacement for Julier. Although still rather Big Brad.Cinderella Man - I know for a fact they have spoken with a colts player. Has not signed as of yet as I understand.
Sunshine???
rumor is fact trajkovski has signed at keilor and stankovick and there last year b&f christain day AND THE BIG ONE IS THAT JIMMY CONDOS has accepted a playing assistant coaching roll more to come may be super brain Goldie ant to smart after all

In 2013 you will witness a record number of new recruits into the Senior ranks that will bolster our on-field performance in both the Seniors and the Reserves.Deer park well and truly doubled the budget for next year. Signed ayres, barling, georgiadis and many more! Also heard a Rumor that former pie tarrent has also been spoken to?

From the horses mouth (goldie) on there website
Apart from Deer Park potentially destroying the competition next year, the flow on of what they are doing is going to hurt all clubs. Deer Park are creating out of control levels of inflation - players salary expectations will increase but 9 other clubs in the competition won't be able to get near what Deer Park are offering. For a football lover it is very disappointing to see the "obscene" money being paid to over hyped footballers who haven't achieved a great deal in their football careers but continue to demand ridiculous money.
For a football lover it is very disappointing to see the "obscene" money being paid to over hyped footballers who haven't achieved a great deal in their football careers but continue to demand ridiculous money. With Deer Park now "Maribyrnong Park in drag", do the power breakers really believe this is a sustainable model to create for their club. Obviously they have done a great job to rebuild their rooms and to emerge from 2nd Division wilderness, but to now create a playing culture on attracting players who are happy to chase money and hop from one club to another to the highest bidder is simply not sustainable.
Ryan Crawford this year won the medal for best on the ground for Tatura in the Goulburn Valley FL in his first year but the lure of $ 30,000 cash per year guaranteed for 2 years at Deer Park was too good to refuse. Also Kwame McHarg has left Williamstown to play at Deer Park for huge dollars as well as the harem of other football parasites.
It was good for local football to see Altona win the flag this year over Spotswood and lets hope that a cashed up club like Deer Park which is undertaking a recruiting splurge on over hyped parasites fall short. A result like that will also be good for football and might make their decision makers re think their long term goals and the manner in which they plan for long term sustainable success.

You can't blame the new Deer Park players for taking whats on offer. But the man behind these four or five year "takeovers" of local footy clubs is doing much more harm than good to local footy.
The WRFL board are already concerned "about the unevenness in senior competitions" - well I've got a bit of news for them....it's going to get a whole lot worse in 2013. Interesting times ahead.
