Hey Ando, heard yesterday that a star CS player who plays FF was hit behind play yesterday. Any truth to this rumour??

Was at the game turbo but didn't see the fight that went on behind play too busy watching the game

I heard it was a simple case of the injured player getting between Borlase and the canteen and paying the price.

Heard from some Braybrook locals on the weekend that the old fool who plunged West Footscray into financial crisis along with his son in law (who fled to Parkside) is planning a comeback. I believe he is planning to challenge for the presidency of the club later this year to remove the blokes who cleaned up his mess. He must have no shame!!

It's made the local paper. Sutton concussed and broken nose. Picture of him doesn't look good for the player who hit him (who is mentioned in the article). I'm guessing his season could be over with 2 rounds to go. Big blow for you boys..

Bit of shame really as his a pretty respected, loyal and decorated player and not known to be involved in this type of stuff. Not a good look for the league and they won't be happy..Stay tuned on this one....

Just got a call from a mate and he tells me Sutton might have played his last game. Well most definitely his had enough of WRFL footy.
Bit of shame really as his a pretty respected, loyal and decorated player and not known to be involved in this type of stuff. Not a good look for the league and they won't be happy..Stay tuned on this one....

Turbo was unfortunate what happened but the tribunal will be on tonight with plenty of witnesses from both sides so we will find out the outcome later

It was likely his last year anyway but certainly deserves to go out on better terms than this (if in fact he does hang them up) - you're right though, definitely one of the better blokes in footy.

Tribunal results show the player got 8 weeks. Huge suspension.
Nth Footscray have been around for ages and usually have a good reputation & culture so they won't be impressed with the bad publicity.

Disappointing Turbo when the player and the club have been smashed on social media when it was noted by the tribunal that it was NOT a king hit that he was hit front on and lets not forget the player who got 8 weeks received a black eye and cut lip before the incident ....just unlucky that he was caught not the other 2 by the umpire

Throwing punches with the clear intentions of harming your opponent, is gutless. Whether it is in retaliation or not. One gutless act doesn't cancel out another.

Its about time local footy took a harder stance to this shit.

Footy has enough competition without shooting itself in the foot

Heard this star FF might of done some of his own hitting behind play on the weekend. Bit rich of a bloke to do this after being on the receiving end of one himself and screaming about it.
