Why the hell was Pendles off the ground with 2 minutes to go, now come on Mick you have lost the plot.

Simple.

He knew Barham was going to extract it from the pack and dish out to Macaffer who would then no look hand ball perfectly back to Barham who was going to kick from 50 and goal. Then Josh Fraser was going to take the game saving mark ala Leo Barry.

I asked the same thing when Jolly went off for Fraser right near the end. Reckon too rigid with the rotations, it's not like players can't last more then 4mins on the field :o

Ur rotations are not coach ordered, for all we know the players went themselves. From what i could tell neither went to the bench all quarter until late

The forward line was hot in the first 15mins of the first qtr. Then Jolly went off to the bench. Then our forward structure basically fell to bits.
If it was Jolly who decided he needed a rest than I'll accept that. If it was MM who ordered the rotation then it was just plain dumb.
Seemed to be a few dumb rotations during the game.

I was at the game and listening to the radio at the same time. They were talking about inexplicable rotations. Someone (maybe Dermie B) explained that it's all organised in advance:confused: by the medical staff. They work it out starting from the preseason, and know exactly how long a player can last without getting his heart rate so elevated that it would take 15 mins for it to come down. If they take him off after a certain time, he can go back on in just a few mins. All very scientific. Weird.

YES! I noticed Jolly was off and Fraser was in the middle (needless to say he lost the most crucial tap of the game)

If its all pre planned, then why the hell do most players run to the bench when they kick a goal. Did they plan to kick a goal at that stage of the game?

Not that many players would have had to do it today....
