I'm really frustrated that Drew McIntyre has come back again to just play brute bodyguard to Dolph Ziggler.

Drew is a ****ing beast that deserves better than this... even if he's doing it well. I hope there is something planned for this down the road.

Also, why bring up Almas from NXT to have him on the pre-show with Sin Cara, who no one cares about.

Also, what a shitty Rusev day. :(

Now turn him heel.. for ****s sake.. full heel.. like punching babies in the face heel.

Also, Cole ruined the chokeslam from the cage spot with his inability to shut the **** up.

He's a blight on commentary

I expect Drew will be the next Intercontinental champion. Dolph will hold it possibly through to next year with Drew doing all the dirty work to keep the belt on him, and then will turn on Dolph and will win it at Wrestlemania, or because WWE can't keep a potentially good story going as they clearly prefer the crap ones going for months for any length of time, or ruin good ones by playing the same thing out month after month with no real progress (AJ/Nakamura), he will turn very soon and will take it at Summerslam.

It really just depends on when WWE pull the trigger on it.

Rusev was always going to Job to AJ.

Lot of NXT Call Ups have come Jobbers Quickly

sounds like the show was better than expected, but still nothing that screams "must watch" like a NXT Takeover.

Very much that, pretty much all good matches (likely the best set of matches in a while), but none that are really noteworthy or have you wanting to watch again.

Reviews that I've read described it as "better than initially expected, but nothing more than "good"".

Think that's a good way to describe it, solid, beyond expectation, but not spectacular.

The Almas/sin cara feud is to show off how much he has changed he and cara use to be boys but now he needs no one but his manager and will **** everyone over to get what he deserves

One of the weirdest shows I've ever seen. Was definitely not nearly 'extreme' enough to be called 'Extreme Rules' either.

Corbin/Balor was just there to fill time.
B Team winning the tag titles + their celebrations afterwards was kind of great.
Asuka/Carmella was a dud match with a dud ending.
Lashley/Reigns was actually really good with a decent atmosphere. Almost Match of the Night...
Strowman/Owens holy sh*t what a spot. Owens has been doing some crazy shit lately.
Rusev/AJ Styles crowd was a lot flatter than I thought. Pretty average match.
Bliss/Jax absolute garbage. Those chair shots were piss weak. I know they're women, but come on...
Main event was not as good as it should've been. Both men didn't get out of first gear.

Didn't really enjoy this show at all. When the concept of a PPV is about being extreme, and you only have 1 steel cage match (albeit with a great spot) and 1 garbage extreme rules match it simply isn't good enough.
