Oh Know not the dreaded Bay13! Please make the mean people stop, make them say its not true! Those nasty 'trolls' are being mean, it makes me sad! Please wont someone think of the children!
The club seems to be doing anything to make money. I don't see anything wrong with this though, I would be happy to receive a MFC card in my stocking or in the post. They look a little corny but I like them.
Ok all you cheapy's, the idea is to actually buy a pack of cards, but if you PM me, I will see if Santa thinks you deserve a card to be sent....

Bay 13 is pathetic. Seems like a ploy to appeal to the younger generation, future members and the age group we lack most support in. Since supporters are so loyal, you obviously need to get them early. So with a little bit of thought...its not such a bad marketing idea.
I dont go onto the Bay really (although I have lobbed the occasional insult in the general direction of WC supporters).
But there are a couple of funny threads over there atm.
My documents is funny at times although correctly pointed out as one of the biggest nerd wank fests going around.
Image of the decade has a few laughs in it. And theres a funny thread with the Adelaide sides hanging it on each other about the fatness of Motlop vs Johncock respectively.
The trick is not to post unless your giving someone crap - dont respond to jibes - especially funny ones. (W33 take note!!)

Well it seemed like my little subversion strategem took effect without much trouble when I ran it there 16
Counterpunching is pretty natural for me... and it's not so hard to turn a thread like that too, when there are certain posters who are so open to manipulation...
But general consensus seems to be in favour of letting it run, so yeah, best to not play that gambit this time.
The Bay used to be a lot more creative a few months ago, I have to say- the level of threads has fallen dramatically, and a fair few of the best posters from other clubs who used to be regulars have given up on it since the rot set in there.
That's one reason why I'm not anywhere near as often involved there as I used to be.
Seeming like substantially more Z-grade nimrods are present around there than there used to be Merc, that's for sure. Whole block of posters with not a single original or creative thought in them...
