He was grinning like a cheshire cat all day...played an enjoyable game with a bunch of hungry kids, against his old club, pumped them, and he didn't have to carry the grandstand to get his side home like he has most of his career...plenty to smile about in all that.

Good on him.

in the kick ins in the 3rd quarter cuz was the only man on the ground moving or making leads for the ball and everytime it was kicked his way he would do everything in his effort to get the ball (even though most of his opponents were towering over him)

his effort is amazing and i was also impressed last week with his game

feels good to not have to stick up for him wit everyone saying 'get rid of him he's too old and he is past it now'

Must feel good to know that he's sticking it up all the knockers one week at a time. Where are all the peanuts calling for him to be "sacked immediately" now? I reckon that one was for Hutchy :)

I still think it's one of the best and gutsiest decisions any club's made in a long time. Saints would have a flag now if they'd had the balls.

Just watched the replay - have a look at the team after the game. who looked like they honestly loved being out there?

Cuz - get the feeling that he is just loving life at the moment. Good on him.
Picked that up at the time Peej , the way he got around to all the boys on the ground after the game ... and the way he sung the song .

Meant a lot to him

Some might not agree in full with this but there is 3 distinct incidents, which have been written about this year that have seen him have a huge influence.

1. Telling Jack in praccy match against Geelong to stop being a smartarse and carying on like a clown after kicking a goal. " or wods to that effect "

2. Giving Connors a smack in the mouth when carying on in Sydney . ( yea some purest might not agree )

3. Excepted his punishment like man over the Connors incident, copped it on the chin and most importantly backed the club on the way, the club handled and handed out punishments over the incident.

There are plenty of other incidents which aren't yet common knowledge , but this bloke oozes team work ethic and is instilling into the club !!

I agree with all 3 points. I am so glad we have someone like Cousins around the club, that is eager to help out the young kids.

Probably , thanks to the fans the club felt comfortable to recruit Cousins. But, yeah it was a brave move and it's worked in our favour now. Saints and Pies missed out.

Do you think your reaction suggests that you've got a few problems with women? What exactly was it that made you want to 'smack' her? Are you a rapper? Not sure the great Michael Roach's name should be associated with misogynism.
Pull your head out of your arse. I was taking poetic license, bitch.
