I've watched him play live and on TV several times.

I've offered my opinion, not sure how that is hypocritical.

It wasnt even critical of him but you lot are so defensive nowadays.

You came across again as a bit of a twat for this comment alone "if ever imo".

No guarantees how a 16 year old will develop. If thats offended you grow up.

There was no insult intended. But 16 year olds don't always take the step up.

He might not make it. He might. You need to chill.

I've seen him look outmatched at U18 level. If you've not seen him at U23 level why do you think he's ready for senior football?
he'll be ready to be introduced to senior football next season. Rashford gets pushed off the ball by strong defenders regularly but he's still successful. Most diminutive forwards suffer from this as will Griezmann if he comes to the prem next season.

The U18s is a better standard of football than the U23s imo. He trains with the first team and he debuted ahead of many other older and more physical players on the weekend. Happy to back in the coaching staff on that. Reckon he'll get 15 mins off the bench every few games next year and he'll be looking to start games aged 18.

If you keep saying it maybe it'll come true.

If I was being sensitive I would have called you out on it when I read it, not further on to make a point.

Keep up the good work though, I do enjoy reading your analysis of young English players.

Maybe he will. But it doesnt make me a hypocrite to point out that he has a way to go physically.

I'd be surprised to see him play too much senior football next season. But maybe he will, who knows?

****ing hell. Won't bother giving an opinion on a player I've seen several times any more.

Wait, so he's Nani's cousin but is representing England?
Born in London, raised in Salford. His old man moved to Salford when Angel was 1. Nani is actually his godfather. He can play for Portugal or England but has committed to England and has captained England at every level he's played at thus far.

This is actually interesting. Did he move over before Nani signed for United?
yeah, 16+ years ago. Angel's dad coached at United after he stopped playing for Salford so assume they met there. Angel is also mates with Ronnie and bizarrely, Lacazette.
