Youngsters to get a rest

It is actualy a proper pronounciation. ;) Shooban. [It's Croatian]
Surjan [Shooryan], Didak [Deeduck], Gaspar [Gashpar], Maric [Marich], just some of the mispronounced names. FWIW, some german names are mispronounced too. [Kreuzer = Kroytser]

Yep, I remember it took them ages for people to get Reiwoldt right, pronouncing the W as a V.

Wirrpanda is the funniest one. When he started at the eagles he spelled his name Wirrapunda specifically so everyone would know how to pronounce it properly. Then after 10 years he decided everyone knew it by now and that it was safe to start spelling it properly.

And what's happened? Some numbnuts commentators have started calling him Wir-panda.

Harvey has now said that no one will be "rested".

Thank christ... i know they could probably do with the week off, but the youngsters are the only things keeping me interested atm :)

FWIW.. im in car number 3-4ish on the Hinkley bandwagon... just needs to be given more of a chance by everyone here and the coaching staff (ie. more than 50mins of game time)

It's nice to have you on board. I must warn you though, while it appears to be quite empty, we are expecting a large number of people to jump on at the last stop.

I was on the bandwagon last year, now I'm standing at the sation deciding if I should get back on or not. To be honest, it's a pretty shonky looking wagon at the moment, and everytime it goes past my confidence in it decreases further.

Pace seems to be all he has going for him and sadly he isn't using it effectively - or at all. On the weekend in particular he seemed really fumbly, almost to a point where I questioned whether he even wanted the ball. It might be a confidence issue, but **** me, pick the bloody thing up and go for a run son!

Thats all well and good. I agree also, But the last time he did that was against north..... he ran.... and ran... and ran.... BUT NO ONE MADE A LEAD!!!!

So maybe after that incident his confidence hit rock bottom.

Its hard to run and break lines if you know that going foward there is just nothing to kick it to.

Which is why during that game he ran like 80 metres and then kicked a floater to a 2 on 1 contest. No one else had the balls to make a lead at him.

Firstly, he barely ran, it was more of a hesitant jog. Secondly, he should've kept running and created something. Palmer, Hill even Peake would absolutely love to have been in that situation. I'd say his confidence was already shot before then. No idea why though.

Did u see Andy Maher on Before the Game last weekend.

Was calling him Wirra-panda the whole show. Annoying

Firstly whether running or a hesitant job if players up the ground aren't moving not even Hill, Palmer or Peake could have gotten something out of that situation.

Yes i agree his confidence is shot, maybe thats why his game time is at around 50-60% ??? They are trying to slowly get it back?
