Your 2nd Favourite Team

Obviously none of us would ever sway from the bandwagon of our beloved Bombers, but who is a 2nd team that you have a soft spot for? Personally, Melbourne for me, if there was ever a team i felt sorry for beating, it was Melbourne last year in Daniher's last game. Of the Interstate teams, we have a good healthy rivalry with West Coast that makes every game we play special, so they'd probably be my favourite interstate side.

I like seeing the Swans do well. All of my fathers side of the family are lifelong South Melbourne/Sydney fans. I was glad for them when they won a flag a few years ago.

Meh I find rivalries in AFL childish, and wont base my decision on liking a club because of those rivalries especially when they play exciting and entertaining football.

Having moved from WA just before they came in I've always had a soft spot for the Eagles. its interesting that Sheeds was always able to get Bombers"up" for games against WCE- I reckon we usually play 3-4 goals better agaianst them than our general form. Will be interesting to see if trend continues under Knighter.

If I had to pick one, I'd go Port or Freo, just because of the strong Essendon connections.

Sydney, just love their hardness at the footy, and growning up in Sydney, I used to watch them more than Essendon.

I briefly considered Freo, but realised that I don't want to support two eternally frustrating teams. So I reckon Brisbane would be my second favourite, and fall-back if we ever fold. Good club, good coach and list, good jumper (apart from that white one) and fairly succesful.
