I wrote to Ross Glendinning as a kid and I have all his hand written replies. I also still have an autograph book that he told me to send him with all the autographs he kindly got for me. I am fortunate enough to have maintained some contact as adult. I treasure these moments very much. People say never meet your heroes. Well I met mine and he is an absolute star.

I have a handwritten letter from Ross as well. I reckon it's 40 years old now (gulp). Gee i was stoked to get that in the mail and it's still in my scrapbook.

How awesome. I know I will treasure mine forever and have told Ross how much they mean to me. I don't think anyone would have a bad thing to say about Ross. The fact he did these things is a testament to what a terrific person he was and still is.
