Your NBA LIVE 2005 Fantasy Draft Team

What's yours? I like to start a season and use the fantasy draft, just something different.

Here's mine, I generally went with players I liked and that I could pick up.

C - R.LaFrentz
PF - K. Garnett
SF - T. Prince
SG - A. Houston
PG - D. Wade
6. V. Radamovic
7. P . Hardaway
8. A . Pavlovic
9. C. Weatherspoon

Can't be bothered posting the rest of the team.
What are your thoughts

I always prefer using the set rosters (making any changes that happen in real life) to start off with, and then make my own moves after that if I'm in Dynasty mode.

Yeh i like to keep it real. I dont like drafting players as it is not the proper team...Except Reggie, because his 3 point power is unstoppable...

Personally like to keep it as real as I can when it comes to season-long or franchise modes, and update the rosters as often as i can from www.nba-live.com

If you have live you have to visit this site for patches and stuff...


Also I've never created myself but I have a friend who is obsessed with doing it and does it every game he can, each to their own I guess

That is one of two glaring oversights that seem to be in every basketball game - the inability to give contract extensions before the end of an existing contract, and the inability to work with both restricted and unrestricted FAs.

Well you have to first wait til they are out of contract

Then you do it in the offseason along with the draft, and trades and stuff

Yeah I like the default teams, more realistic, than most players at different clubs

Yep, I also use the standard NBA roster when in Dynasty mode (I use Memphis).

Though if/when I get bored of that game I may shake things up by using the fantasy draft in dynasty mode - it'd be fun for a while.

I also do a seperate roster and create my entire basketball team.

I play with Phoenix (normal rosters), and I have a question.

How do you get Amare to dominate like he does in real life? I find he always gets his dunks blocked, and he never seems to be able to hit his jumper (even from close range).
