This just backs up what Ghost mentioned in another thread. It is so even through the teens and 20's that we might not be sure who we will get with both 23 and 36. We'll have our board and our list and literally tick them off as we go through the count. It kind of makes it exciting I guess...

It wouldn't surprise me if we see a number of clubs take more time with their picks as they find players available who they might not have thought would be at their pick....

Tipping English to slide ala Brodie Grundy and for a few bids to be passed over early. Wanted something a little different in there ;)

Hilarious.
Kids a ****ing jet.

People just bored of him as he's been touted no1 for months.

But hey, was watching Liam Ryan's video on the draft machine, you were right about him being a human highlight reel. Reminds me so much of Jurrah, just without a machete. You'd reckon he could end up being a bit better in the forward line than Minch or Wright, and should still be able to give us that manic pressure if he develops a decent tank.

his leap is utterly insane. i cant remember seeing anything like it

he's basically gone from country footy to being in draft calculations inside 6 months. just insane.

he's also only 19!!!!

he's a natural fwd pocket. where as i think wright and minch are more midfield prospects that have ended up in a small fwd role

the issue with liam ryan is his size and ability to apply defencive pressure. he does offer something we dont have though

you're probably right and youve probably seen him a lot more than me...

but look at this way, we aren't going to get him, so wouldnt it be amazing if i'm right and we find a better prospect further down the draft order?

Just what people want to hear!
Not what's realistic

Not what's realistic

i have said 3 times already that i havent seen him much so take it lightly... so to then question the realism of it, is a bit bizarre given I already stated its not realistic

given your reaction I would argue that people want to hear that McCluggage is a good player and a top 3 prospect, to argue against that probably isnt what people want to hear!

anyways like i said I wouldnt take what i posted too seriously

This is as good a place to post as any so thought I you should know I had a chat to someone at the club who may have been a fish in his past life.

He tells me there is a distinct top 6 ish, then half a step down another 30 blokes who could go anywhere from 7 to 40 ish. We are more than confident we will get two players we rate 7-20 with our two first picks based on whispers and player manager feedback.

Depending on bids etc he also thinks we get a top 35 player with our third pick, so will be interesting to see how it pans out, he's very bullish on where we are positioned.
