Transvision Vamp tomorrow night at the Enmore. I saw them twice in their heyday, two of the best gigs I've ever been to, the energy was incredible. This one is definitely a nostalgia show, going to be interesting to see how they hold up.

I seen a clip on facebook yesterday, think it was a Qld show. It’s probably best to go into it with very low expectations.

Always good value. Was at their first gig in '94
Awesome,in brissy I presume ?,always good to get on the ground floor,I saw Silverchair's 4th ever gig later that same year,It was like the Beatles at Festival Hall,I couldn't hear a thing for hysterical teenage girls screaming all show

I was at Gotye's first ever gig, less than 100 people at a small bar in the city in Melbourne, he went on to some bigger things haha

The Smyths(smiths tribute) northcote theatre Friday,Regurgitator Ballarat Saturday

The Gurge are playing at the Westernport this weekend, we have a cabin in the caravan park 50 metres away, unfortunately have tickets to Playlunch this weekend already! Also Ed Sheeran the weekend after, really off brand few weeks for this metalhead!

Young Goyte never has to pick up a mop or shovel again thanks to that one song

...was actually very good. Wendy James is no longer the blond bombshell she once was, and is showing every one of her 60 years. But her voice still mostly holds up, although there were one or two screams and high notes she couldn't quite manage. And she's got some very good musos backing her. So glad I went.

How was this? Interested as to whether they played much of Hamburger EP era.

I have ticket for same tour in April (@TheTivoli)
They were fun as usual, small venue,Sound was quite distorted and treble heavy,Smashed stuff mostly off the first 3 albums, which suits me as they peaked early.Tip for the youngsters here,Go to BWS,get yourself a box of 5 buck chuck, sit at the park bench on the Camp street corner & you'll hear entire Volta gigs for free,And it sounds better than in the venue to boot

Thursday night we are going to Ed Sheeran at the Adelaide Oval. Then in November the Foo Fighters are playing at Coopers Stadium.

$150 for Ed Sheeran and $250 for the Foo Fighters.

Maisie Peters announced a tour only last week, and it begins in two weeks! I'm going on March 2.

...and she was absolutely brilliant. I was a little sceptical when I saw the setlist from the previous night's show, but she'd carefully chosen the songs to all hang together.

She's playing shows tonight and tomorrow night in Melbourne. I wish I was rich enough to fly down and see them both.

Ah, I'll have to tell my daughter who was humming and aching - she saw her when she first came out here at a small club venue and has been tracking her progress. Love the song with Marcus Mumford.

Saw Pulp last night at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl. Jarvis is the most unlikely looking frontman but knows how to work the crowd. Probably the last time we'll see them here and was well worth it.
