Well, Geelong are backing themselves into a huge corner.

I think that Lids will be going to GWS for pick 15, Richmond trades pick 15 to Geelong (satisfying the AFL that Geelong is using a first round pick this year) for Caddy and Geelong trades their 2017 first round pick to Carlton for Tuohy.

They already have made 2 first round picks in the 4-year window (which can apparently be in the same year, no less).

That's a definite possibility and is one of a number of options.

Other options could be to of course keep the pick (probably my least preferred option) or to trade it to the Suns with Everitt/Graham for a top 10 pick this year.

So if Geelongs first goes to us for Tuohy, and we give it to GWS for the GWS pack, and then GWS give it to Richmond for Delidio, where does it go there? Or like most things, it goes to Richmond to die? Or Rihcmond give it to Geelong for Caddy?

That's right even if we trade that future 1st for Marchbank and Pickett. It would still work out to be our future 2nd and Touhy for Marchbank and Pickett.
