Their 30 yr old best player with soft tissue issues that can be had for free next years a free agent who would deliver them an early second rounder which will be around pick 20 .

In our current situation no but if we were in Geelongs situation then yes, problem is Richmond will want more than anyone is prepared to pay either way.

No but we aren't pushing for a Flag. Geelong aren't too far off it and he would fit in their side better than ours.
Besides... it's Richmond...

Cats get Tuohy
Dockers get Kersten
Blues get Weller

Prob have to be some picks swapping but there could be something here

I think Geelong would sooner walk away from a deal for Tuohy than trade either Guthrie or Cockatoo - the latter in particular. I suspect they'd see Tuohy as a nice-to-have, not a need-to-have.

Geelong fans would be livid with a Cockatoo/Tuohy swap, and rightly so. Names like Murdoch and Lang would be more likely, but Thurlow would be a fitting target given our apparent penchant for the walking wounded (although they won't part with him either).

Cats should not entertain player requests to come to their club if they struggle to come up with fair exchanges. They are making out players approached them without the cats making any enquiry. This is Going by Wells, their list manger, on SEN this morning. This seems like a lie & ploy to pay unders after they sold their future trading last year. They have a great list on paper but it's an imbalanced list. They are trying to fix glaring holes and exploit the system like Hawthorn. We must go hard on Tuohy trade as he had a long term offer from Roos

Rockliff goes against our 'public' profile policy.Although would be a great signing.

Can't believe there's not more talk of keeping Tuohy. 26, kicks straight, long & accurate, never injured and top bloke. No one from GWS 5 comes close and saying we have him covered is BS. Also we will get SFA for him, sign him up for 4 years stop messing about.
