Don't Forget he played against Richardson, Modra, Sumich & Chris Grant. That era was the greatest in terms of full forwards.I love that it still pisses opposition fans off that SOS got the honor!

In an era where the power forward still ruled - Lockett, Dunstall, Ablett sr, Carey - none of them got off the chain while SOS was minding them.
people forget how good he was. absolute star. i have seen most of them and sos was easily the best one on one defender ever. not only that provided attack as well. complete defender. next best was scarlett & dench but sos the best.

Carlton will have to shop Tuohy around Geelong cant get anyone to go to the Carlton and they wont swap picks so that's dead maybe Doggies should have a go and let Adams join Freo win for all parties....
Once!!!! When SOS was young and Plugger would have kicked 20 that day on anyone else.
SOS pretty much owned him from then on. I doubt Plugger had a game after that he got anymore than 4 goals on him.
We were blessed to see greats like that go at each other.
For sure, if there is one thing the Dogs need it's another HBFer.
